	Краткое содержание статьи: The Taiwanese ALi (Acer Laboratories) hopes to take over the low-cost segment of the Socket A market with its Magik 1 chipset. The new chipset offers both DDR-SDRAM and SDRAM support. A test of the four first boards still revealed numerous shortfalls in practice. ALi is in fierce competition with VIA - either way, it's the customer who wins out. Of all test candidates, the Asus A7A266 cut the best figure.
